Best Christmas ever
The good news of the ice storm is that the Boyers came on the 23rd to stay since they had no power. The outside temp had slide down to near 10 degrees.
Having the Boyers there made it so warm and cozy... it was a complete turn around from the prior year when it was just Todd, me, and the kids. This year we had every bedroom filled. It was a great Christmas Eve and day!
The kids all helped make cookies for Christmas Eve and day.
MacKenzie wrapped Rebekah up for Christmas
The kids read some stories, then watched a movie before bed.

Wright Family Christmas
Years ago... the Wright family dropped our annual Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings and replaced them with a gathering on the 2nd Sunday of December. For a long time we met at Grandma's house on the farm.
Around 1985-6 we began to meet in restaurants to ease the burden on Grandma. Very soon we decided that was not the same as meeting in someone's home. So the parents began hosting it at their houses. In early 2000's we grandchildren began to participate in the rotation. In 2004 Todd and I hosted it for the first time at our new house.
Howard and Liz Wright, Wally and Ann Wright, Marti (Clem's widow) and Fielding Massie.
Missing were Charlie and Phyllis Wright
The Howard Wright family
(Nathaniel was napping)
The Clem Wright family
The Wally and Charlie Wright families
(missing Jane, Chip and the boys Dietrich; Lisa and Brian Schiffer; and Charlie and Phyllis.)
