So Sweet!! I still can't believe we're parents! Rebekah has taken to nursing so well that she will no longer take a bottle. Hmmm... how's that going to work?

Lisa holds Rebekah for the first time. It's about 9:00 pm now.



The hospital has me till wrapped in a warmed blanket with ice on ... you know where... Food is on the way! YEH!!


Hospital staff threw a million forms at me to read or fill out. Don't they know I just did the BIGGEST thing of my life??

Don't they know hormones are fleeing my body and my brain is fogged!!

September 14, 2001 about 6:00 pm.

Just 3 days after 9/11, Rebekah came into the world. She was wonderful but it was a scary world she was entering. We wondered what would happen next.

She wouldn't eat at first since they had suctioned her so much. And the first feedings were hard to figure out and nerve wracking! But we figured it out within 3 weeks!

Pregnant!

Here I am 7 months pregnant with Todd in front of our house. It's mid-July 2001.

Marcia gave us a wonderful shower in her yard on Lutz Avenue on June 30th. All these people had just showered us with wedding gifts months earlier and still gave us a BOUNTY to prepare us for parenthood. Since I hardly knew any of them it was overwhelming and I felt undeserving!
